Facial Aesthetics Reconstructive Surgery Injectable Training

Professional Biography

Dr. Richard Anderson is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founding Medical Director of Facial Injectables. With more than two decades of clinical experience in facial aesthetics and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Anderson has established himself as one of the foremost authorities in injectable training and education in the United States.

After earning his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Anderson completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he developed a particular focus on facial anatomy and minimally invasive rejuvenation techniques. He went on to complete an advanced fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, further deepening his expertise in the structural complexities of the face.

Dr. Anderson founded Facial Injectables after recognizing a critical gap in hands-on injectable training for healthcare professionals. His vision was to create a program that combined rigorous academic instruction with extensive live patient experience, ensuring that graduates would be fully prepared to deliver safe, effective, and artistically refined results from day one.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Anderson has personally trained over 5,000 practitioners across the country. He is a frequent keynote speaker at national aesthetic medicine conferences, including the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery annual meeting and the Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Multi-Specialty Symposium. His research on cannula-guided filler techniques has been published in the Journal of Aesthetic Surgery, Dermatologic Surgery, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Anderson's teaching philosophy centers on mastery through repetition and mentorship. He believes that every injectable procedure is both a medical intervention and an art form, and he instills in his students an appreciation for facial harmony, proportional balance, and patient-centered care. Under his leadership, Facial Injectables has grown into the nation's leading provider of live patient injectable training.
